Do you know the disadvantages of prosthetic rhinoplasty?

Many friends are now accustomed to plastic surgery, because many female friends will do so in order to make their appearance more beautiful. Prosthetic rhinoplasty is a relatively common minor plastic surgery, which involves inserting a limb into the nose to change the shape of the nose. Such behavior actually has certain side effects and may even threaten the health of the nasal cavity.

Swelling and bruising: This is a very common hazard of prosthetic rhinoplasty, as the surgery requires a cavity to be separated at the dorsum of the nose and the silicone rubber prosthesis to be placed into it.

Due to the trauma of the operation itself, postoperative swelling and bruising are inevitable. Generally, swelling and bruising last about a week. Therefore, if you want to undergo rhinoplasty, you should first arrange your time so as not to affect your normal work and life. In addition, cold compress after surgery and hot compress 5 days later can help reduce swelling and blood stasis.

Exposure of the prosthesis : There is a possibility of perforation of the skin or mucous membrane and exposure of the prosthesis after rhinoplasty.

It is mainly prone to occur on all sides of the nostril incision and the tip of the nose. The hazards of this type of prosthetic rhinoplasty are mainly manifested in the nostrils as a small amount of secretions in the early stage, forming nasal crusts, and finally the silicone prosthesis is exposed or perforated; at the tip of the nose, the local area is shiny and tense in the early stage, and then gradually turns red and becomes thinner until perforation, and the silicone prosthesis is exposed or perforated, often with a small amount of secretions.

Nose deviation: Common nose deviations include nose root deviation, nose bridge axis deviation, nose tip deviation, and nose bridge axis deviation.

Some of the causes are due to the patient's own conditions, such as crooked nose bridge axis, distorted nasal septum, crooked columella, etc. Most of them are caused by the operation itself, such as the separation cavity is too small and not straight, the separation cavity is not thorough, the thickness is uneven, and the silicone prosthesis is not well sculpted.
