How effective is private waxing?

Shaving private parts can be said to be an embarrassing thing. Although it is quite common abroad, in our more traditional country, many women still dare not act rashly. There are many methods for private hair removal, and beeswax is one of them. Many people don’t know the effect of beeswax for private hair removal. Let’s learn about it together.

Before hair removal, a certain length of hair shaft should be retained, about 3 mm long, or hair removal can be done after the hair grows to an appropriate length two or three weeks after shaving. Among the hair removal methods that do not damage the hair follicles, waxing has a limited duration, and can only last for 2 to 3 months at most. For some people with particularly thick hair growth, it is necessary to do it once a month and a half. A small number of people will experience skin damage and inflammation of the hair follicles when undergoing waxing hair removal, so before performing waxing hair removal for the first time, it is best to try it on a local area first.

People who have edema caused by diabetes, varicose veins, or broken skin should not undergo waxing. Waxing is suitable for removing body hair on the arms, legs, and underarms. This method can remove large areas of body hair at one time, and the hair that grows back will be softer. Apply beeswax evenly on the skin, keeping it close to the skin, then cover it with gauze and pull it up to remove the hair by the roots. This type of wax hair removal is very painful when tearing, and once the half-broken hair ends are stuck in the hair follicles, it may cause folliculitis.

There are two types of depilatory wax: frozen wax and hot wax. The main components of frozen wax are various resins, which are highly adhesive, soluble in water and in a gelatinous state. It does not need to be heated during use. It can be directly applied to the skin where hair is to be removed. It adheres tightly to the skin without any discomfort. It is suitable for hair removal on sensitive skin areas. Hot wax is a mixture of beeswax and resin. It is usually in solid state and needs to be heated and melted before use. It can be applied to the skin only when the temperature drops to a level suitable for the skin.
