Exfoliate regularly, teach you how to exfoliate yourself

As we all know, the epidermis is divided into 5 layers, and the top one is our stratum corneum, which has the function of protecting the skin from external damage. It is also the first checkpoint for various nutrients to enter the skin. If the stratum corneum is removed, all the skin care products we apply will not be well absorbed by the skin, so regular exfoliation is particularly important. So is there a way to make your own exfoliation? Let’s find out!

How to make your own exfoliation:

1. Granulated sugar

Mix 4 spoons of fine sugar, half a spoon of lemon juice, 2 spoons of honey and 5 drops of essential oil, apply it in circles on the areas that need exfoliation, leave it on for half a minute and then wash it off. White sugar has an exfoliating effect, and adding lemon juice and honey is to make the skin bright and plump while exfoliating. If you don’t like it, you can also directly mix white sugar with honey, but the effect will not be as transparent.

2. Salt

The functions of table salt and granulated sugar are the same, serving as an auxiliary prop for kneading. Compared with white sugar, table salt also has a bactericidal effect and is very suitable for oily skin and acne skin. After cleansing, just take a small amount of salt and massage it on your face, then wash it off with clean water after 30 seconds. This method is simple but effective and is best used once a week.

3. Milk + vinegar

Milk is a good moisturizing skin care product, but vinegar is a good helper for exfoliation. When the two are mixed, they can combine the moisturizing power of milk, achieving the exfoliating effect while being more gentle. The method is also very simple. Just mix milk and vinegar in equal proportions, then apply it on your face in circles and then wash it off.

4. Orange peel exfoliation

Scrape off the outermost pigment layer and dry the remaining piece in the sun or in the microwave on low for 5 minutes. After drying, chop it into pieces and put it into a blender to grind it into powder. It can be mixed with water, lotion or yogurt to make an exfoliating cream. This method is simple but effective and is best used once a week.
