4. 5. Complete intraoral incision: A 3 cm to 4 cm arc-shaped incision is made inside the mouth to remove the hypertrophic mandibular angle. At the same time, the outer plate of the mandible and the mandibular margin can be removed or ground, and part of the masseter muscle can be removed. Advantages: Because the entire operation only involves an intraoral incision, no surgical scars will be left on the body surface. The surgical trauma is much smaller than that of a combined intraoral and extraoral incision, and recovery is significantly faster.
