c. Thickness should be enough

d. The density should be sufficient

The density should be firm so that it won't break when you wipe it, otherwise your whole face will be covered with cotton wool, which is quite embarrassing. Before use, you can test it by gently pulling it with your hands. If the cotton pad is easily torn, it means that the density is not enough.

e. The surface texture should be appropriate

Depending on the products it is used with, if you use a general moisturizing lotion, the touch will of course be mainly soft. If you use it with an exfoliator, the cotton pad will have a fiber treatment on the surface that will easily adhere to dead cells on the skin's surface.
