Why do I suddenly have a mole on my lips?

It seems that having pimples or small bags on the body is no big deal and will heal on its own in a couple of days. However, a mole suddenly growing on the face seems unimaginable. Some people will definitely wonder if they have a serious illness, whether it is serious, and whether it can be cured. In fact, don't panic or be afraid. A black mole on the mouth is not a very serious matter. Just listen to the doctor's advice and treat it well. Some cases don't even require any measures to be taken. It does not have a big impact on the body.

Causes of black moles:

1. Benign melanin.

Most benign melanocytic tumors do not require treatment. Melanocytes are present in normal skin and are evenly distributed throughout the body. The function of melanocytes is to produce melanin and transmit it to almost every epidermal cell. Epidermal cells themselves do not produce melanin, but there may be one melanocyte for every 20 to 30 epidermal cells, which can produce melanin and transmit it to nearby epidermal cells. Everyone has moles on their body to a greater or lesser extent. Most moles are acquired and appear one by one after puberty.

Suggestions: To avoid becoming malignant melanoma, the following types of moles should be removed: moles that are stimulated by long-term friction, black moles, uneven pigmentation, uneven or irregular edges, unclear boundaries, asymmetry, moles with a diameter greater than 5 mm, moles in special parts, single moles that change suddenly and rapidly, etc.

2. Mucous membrane black spots

The mole on the lip mucosa is formed by the local accumulation of melanin, also known as mucosal black spots. The cause is not very clear, most of them are benign and do not affect health.

Suggestions: If you are healthy and have no abnormalities, it should not be a big problem. If you find that the black spots suddenly become larger, bulge, bleed or ulcerate, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible for examination and treatment. If you think it affects your appearance or you are worried, you can also go to the hospital to remove the black spots.

Although some diseases are uncommon and seem incredible, they are not as scary as imagined. So don’t think that they are very serious when you encounter such rare diseases. Treat them with a calm heart and maintain a good mood. However, if you continue to experience discomfort, you should go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease.
