How to increase skin stratum corneum

How to increase skin stratum corneum

For normal people, the stratum corneum will fall off automatically, so normal people generally do not need to use exfoliating products. Especially for people who have a naturally thin stratum corneum, they should not use exfoliating products at this time, otherwise the stratum corneum will become thinner and thinner, thereby increasing the possibility of developing red blood vessels and spots. In addition to removing the stratum corneum, there are actually methods to thicken the stratum corneum, which are introduced in detail below.

After the stratum corneum is shed automatically or artificially, the epidermis will rapidly proliferate keratinocytes and convert them into dead anucleated cornocytes and transport them to the skin surface. The total process takes about 14 days. Excessive exfoliation will cause the stratum corneum to become very thin, the skin to be sensitive, and in severe cases, red blood streaks will appear. If it is caused simply by using exfoliating products, it will heal on its own after stopping use. The keratin in the red blood vessels is no longer there and has been destroyed. There are two types of red blood: exogenous and endogenous. Exogenous red blood streaks are caused by products containing hormones, antibiotics, fruit acids and other ingredients.

Daily prevention of red blood streak skin:

1. Strengthen skin exercise, wash your face with warm water frequently to increase skin tolerance;

2. Try not to use cosmetics containing heavy metals to avoid pigmentation and toxins remaining on the epidermis;

3. Try not to do some laser beauty projects and do not damage the skin's stratum corneum;

4. Avoid using corticosteroid ointments for local skin allergies;

5. Open windows more often to ventilate and reduce skin irritation;

6. Regularly massage your face to promote blood flow and help enhance the elasticity of the capillary walls;

7. Pay attention to moisturizing your skin and prevent it from drying out and peeling;

8. Avoid spicy food, tobacco, alcohol, etc.

It is composed of 10 to 20 layers of dead flat keratinocytes, whose nuclei and organelles have completely disappeared. Under the electron microscope, the stratum corneum cells are filled with densely packed parallel keratin tension filaments immersed in amorphous substances, mainly histidine-rich proteins contained in transparent keratin. There is a layer of insoluble protein about 12nm thick attached to the inner surface of the cell membrane, making the cell membrane thicker and stronger. The surface of the cell membrane is wrinkled and uneven, the cells are interlocked, and the intercellular spaces are filled with lipid substances released by the keratinocyte granules - lamellar lipids.
