Can women with red bloodshot skin use BB cream?

In real life, the appearance of red blood streaks on the facial skin is a very common phenomenon. There are many reasons for the red blood streaks on the face. Generally speaking, it is because the skin layer on the face is relatively fragile. When the skin is stimulated by the outside world, it will easily cause changes in the capillaries, which will easily lead to the appearance of red blood streaks. BB cream can also be used even if there are red blood streaks on the facial skin.

Can you use BB cream to treat red blood streaks on your face?

Red blood

Red blood streaks are mainly caused by the weakness of the facial stratum corneum, which makes the position of the capillaries more easily exposed to and sensitive to changes in the external environment, thus causing the capillaries to expand and cause a facial phenomenon.

The face of a patient with facial erythema appears redder than normal skin color. People often call it plateau face, red cheeks or rotten apples. Some of them are just redness on both sides of the cheekbones, with round borders, generally arranged in silk-like shapes. This type of skin is thin and sensitive, and the face turns redder when it is too cold, too hot, or emotional. In severe cases, deposited pigmentation may form and be difficult to cure.

Symptom difference

Red blood:

Red blood streaks are a facial phenomenon caused by poor dilation of facial capillaries, damaged stratum corneum or superficial location of some capillaries. The streaks are crisscrossed like a spider web and dispersedly distributed. In severe cases, they will connect into flakes and turn into a red face. This kind of skin is thin and sensitive, and the face will become redder when it is too cold, too hot, emotionally excited, or the temperature changes suddenly. The faces of patients with facial erythema appear redder than normal skin color. Some patients only have redness on both sides of the cheekbones with round borders. This type of skin is thin and sensitive, and the face turns redder when it is too cold, too hot, or emotional. In severe cases, deposited pigmentation may form, which is difficult to cure. Not only will it affect the beauty of appearance, but it will also cause psychological trauma and bring great inconvenience to normal life.

Telangiectasia:

Telangiectasia mainly occurs in people with clear, fair and fragile skin. It mainly refers to the persistent dilation of capillaries. Their continuous dilation will cause filamentous, reticular or star-shaped lesions on the skin, which will fade when pressed with fingers. It is characterized by the formation of red or purple-red spots, dots, or linear lesions on the capillaries on the face, occasionally with a burning or tingling sensation, and appearing red. This situation can occur in men, women, young or old, but it is more common in young women. It is normal for normal people to experience mild capillary dilation in a small area after being exposed to the sun or other stimuli. However, if it occurs over a large area, it may be a manifestation of a certain disease.

Seborrheic dermatitis:

Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin disease caused by allergens. The main symptoms are skin redness, itching, wheals and peeling after the skin comes into contact with certain allergens. There are two main causes of seborrheic dermatitis:

1. Primary irritation is mainly caused by strong acids, strong alkalis, lice and certain highly irritating or highly concentrated chemicals. This type of disease has no individual selectivity and no incubation period. It can immediately cause acute skin inflammation in anyone who comes into contact with it.

2. Allergic reaction refers to a condition in which some people with specific allergic constitutions become sensitized after the first contact with the allergens after a latent period of 4-20 days (7-8 days on average). If they come into contact with the substance again, dermatitis may occur in about 12 hours (generally not more than 72 hours). This type of allergic reaction is the most common type of contact dermatitis.

The difference between red blood streaks and telangiectasia:

Telangiectasia and red blood streaks may look very similar, but there are clear differences between the two. First, when the telangiectasia is small in scope and the symptoms are mild, it is within the normal range. However, as long as red blood streaks appear, it proves that skin problems have occurred and need to be dealt with as soon as possible. Then, with redness, there will be no burning and stinging, but with telangiectasia, there will be. Finally, the causes of red blood streaks are more complicated than those of telangiectasia, including: poor capillary dilation performance, damaged stratum corneum or superficial location of some capillaries; while the cause of telangiectasia is relatively simple, and is generally formed after external stimulation in people with thin stratum corneum and sensitive skin.
