What are the self-help methods for facial skin allergies

Our facial skin is completely exposed to the outside and is invaded by many external factors every day, such as cold, dust, pollen and improper use of various skin care products. Skin allergies often occur under such circumstances. When the skin is allergic, it will show symptoms such as dryness, redness, peeling, and itching. At this time, there are some ways to save allergic skin.

Self-help method 1

Clean your face with cold boiled water or a cleanser without any additives. Apply a thin layer of Vaseline before completely drying your face. Stay in a cool environment to quickly calm your skin.

Self-help method 2

Principle: Substances that are prone to allergies. The following terms in skin care products are chemicals that can easily cause allergies. Check them on the outer packaging before purchasing the product: alcohol, bronopol, sorbicacid, parabens, fragrance. If you don't want to become a "sensitive beauty", pay extra attention when purchasing!

Self-help method three

Use an alcohol-free toner. The function of toner is to give the face a refreshing and smooth feeling. Most general toners contain alcohol, which will not only make sensitive skin prone to redness, but will also cause the skin to feel tight after the alcohol evaporates. Therefore, you should choose a mild toner that does not contain alcohol or fragrances. When applying, use the tips of your index, middle and ring fingers to lightly tap the skin. Never pat it hard to avoid irritation.

Self-help method 4

Take more vitamin C. Lack of vitamin C can easily make the skin rough and dry, leading to sensitive symptoms such as dermatitis and peeling. Among fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C, pears and kiwi fruit are the first choice. Eating more of them can strengthen skin tissue and help fight against external allergies.

Self-help method five

Wash your face frequently with cold water to increase your skin's resistance. If your skin is not adapted to the condition, you can first use warm water (20℃-30℃), then gradually lower the water temperature, and use a facial cleanser made from natural ingredients or a less irritating soap. It is best to use an allergy-free facial cleanser. Take a shower and wash your face separately. Bath water is too hot and is not suitable for washing your face, the same goes for other skin types, let alone sensitive skin. So be sure to wash them separately.
