What are the differences between nail polish and nail polish gel?

As an important part of the hands, the beauty of nails is also one of the criteria for measuring personal appearance. There are many ways to make your nails beautiful. Nail polish and nail polish gel are a kind of nail products that many beauty-loving ladies use. However, many people cannot tell the difference between nail polish and nail polish gel. Below, I will introduce the differences between nail polish and nail polish glue.

Nail polish

Ingredients: The main ingredients are 70%-80% volatile solvents, about 15% nitrocellulose, a small amount of oily solvents, camphor, titanium dioxide and oil-soluble pigments.

Function: The solvent contained in nail polish evaporates to form a colored film, which can show color after adhering to the nails.

Features: No need for lighting, so nail polish is usually placed in a transparent bottle and sealed for storage.

Nail Polish

Ingredients and functions: The main ingredients are natural resin and some color materials. This material will solidify under ultraviolet light instead of volatilizing, and it will form a plastic-like film.

Features: Its glossiness, wear resistance and firmness are better than nail polish. Most importantly, it emits almost no volatile gas, is basically odorless, and only takes one or two minutes to dry. And you can make more different nail styles. Nail polish should be placed in a light-proof bottle and stored away from light.

Is nail polish better or nail polish gel?

Nail polish is good. Because nail polish has the following disadvantages:

It smells bad. The chemical solvents it contains will make the human body feel uncomfortable when they evaporate, and long-term inhalation will more or less affect human health.

Long-term use will cause damage to your nails. Due to its strong permeability, nail polish may cause some adverse consequences for girls with fragile nails. For example, if you use nail polish too frequently, your nails may turn yellow and dull, or even break. Especially some unbranded and low-quality nail polish products will be more serious.

The maintenance time is too short and it is easy to fall off. Since nail polish generally only lasts for five or six days on the nail surface, frequent manicures and the number of repetitions of manicures also increase the cumulative damage to the nails.
