For friends who love beauty, you will never let dental plaque affect the whiteness of your teeth, so you should have a certain understanding of how to remove dental plaque. In fact, there are many ways to remove dental plaque in our daily life. We can use our own convenient methods to remove dental plaque, free our teeth from the influence of periodontitis or other diseases, and restore the color of our teeth. The so-called dental plaque is mainly composed of a mixture of food residues, shed epithelium of the oral mucosa, mucin in saliva, and bacteria. Dental plaque is relatively soft and can be easily removed by brushing teeth. Tartar is formed by mineralized plaque and other deposits on the tooth surface. Tartar is relatively hard and tightly attached to the teeth. It cannot be removed by brushing. It must be scraped off with an instrument. Teeth can be divided into supragingival and subgingival parts based on the gingival edge. Tartar attached to the tooth surface is therefore also divided into supragingival and subgingival tartar. Supragingival tartar is generally larger in size, looser in texture, and yellow or white in color. It may also turn darker due to smoking or pigmentation. (l) Vinegar method: Take vinegar and gargle it in your mouth without spitting it out. Hold it in your mouth for two to three minutes and then spit it out. Then brush your mouth with a toothbrush and finally rinse your mouth with warm water. Or when brushing your teeth, add two drops of vinegar to the toothpaste and brush your teeth. This will remove the tartar. (2) Brown sugar toothbrushing method: first take an appropriate amount of brown sugar and put it in your mouth. Hold it for about 15 minutes so that all the teeth in your mouth are immersed in the sugar solution. Then use a harder toothbrush to brush your teeth repeatedly for two to three minutes. Then use light salt water to brush your teeth for one or two minutes. Do this once in the morning and once in the evening every day for one week to remove the stains. (3) White alum toothbrushing method: Grind 50 grams of white alum into powder, apply some powder to your toothbrush and brush your teeth twice a day to remove yellow tartar. (4) Cuttlefish bone toothbrushing method: Take 50 grams of cuttlefish bone and grind it into fine powder. Mix it with toothpaste and brush your teeth twice a day to remove black tartar. There is a close relationship between dental plaque, tartar and periodontal disease. Experiments have shown that under sterile conditions, the mechanical stimulation of the gums by the rough surface of tartar alone does not cause obvious inflammation of the gums. However, the harm of long-term accumulation of food impaction and tartar to periodontal tissues lies mainly in that it constitutes a good site for plaque attachment and breeding. Regarding the methods of removing dental plaque introduced in the article, we recommend that patients with dental plaque can adopt one or two treatment methods to see if they can make your teeth more beautiful. Regarding the occurrence of dental plaque, we also recommend that you should brush your teeth frequently, try not to eat snacks before sleeping, and clean the food left in your mouth after meals. |
