Beauty sleep can make you five years younger

American researchers found that if a couple quarrels during the day, both parties tend to have poor sleep quality at night; conversely, if a couple does not sleep well at night, their relationship will also be affected the next day.

The time for "beauty sleep" is from 10 pm to 2 am the next morning. Studies have shown that from midnight to 2 a.m., the metabolism of human epidermal cells is most active, skin cells regenerate, and the skin adjusts itself. If you stay up late at this time, it will affect the rate of cell regeneration and cause skin aging. Therefore, getting “beauty sleep” is very effective in keeping facial skin delicate, and is better than many big-name skin care products.

Midday nap

"Ziwu nap" refers to the sleep period between Zishi (11pm to 1am) and Wushi (11am to 1pm).

According to the sleep theory of "Huangdi Neijing", the yin energy is at its strongest and the yang energy is weak at midnight, so the sleep effect is best and the sleep quality is highest at this time.

Yang energy is at its strongest at noon, and Yin energy is weak. "When Yin energy is exhausted, one falls asleep," so one should also sleep at noon. However, a short nap of half an hour is enough for lunch, otherwise it will affect your sleep at night. Taking more naps is a good way to stay healthy.

After waking up in the morning, the brain does not immediately enter a normal excited state, but transitions from an inhibited state to an excited state. If you suddenly wake up and force yourself to get up at this time, you will often feel dizzy, have a swollen head, and unstable blood pressure.

You can take a nap when you wake up in the morning to allow your brain's nerve activity to readjust and eventually wake you up completely.

So if time and conditions permit, even if you have gotten up in the morning and done some things but still feel sleepy, you can take a nap to ensure that you are full of energy for the day.
