Spots and red blood

The face is very important to our human body, especially for women who love beauty. Having a beautiful face is what every girl dreams of. However, we often find that some girls have spots and red blood streaks on their faces, which makes our face look very dirty. So what is the reason if spots and red blood streaks appear on our face? Let’s learn about it with the editor today.

Causes of spots

Facial pigmentation, also known as facial spots, refers to spots on the face that are different in color from the surrounding area. There are many reasons for the formation of facial spots, and the types are quite complicated. The main reasons for the formation of facial spots are: genetic factors, ultraviolet radiation, endocrine reasons, lifestyle habits and other factors stimulate the activity of free radicals. In the process of free radicals attacking and destroying cells, a large number of cells die and metabolic disorders occur. Impurities in cells cannot be metabolized, causing pigment deposition and a large reduction in the number of new cells (new cells are an important factor in skin whitening), forming facial spots.

The four main reasons for facial pigmentation are as follows:

(1)Genetic reasons. Autosomal inheritance is the main cause of facial pigmentation. It usually starts in children around 5 years old, mostly in women, with severe symptoms in spring and summer and mild symptoms in autumn and winter. Light brown to yellowish brown spots ranging in size from pinpoints to rice grains, symmetrically distributed on the face (especially the nose).

(2) Ultraviolet radiation. Ultraviolet radiation in sunlight is an important cause of facial spots, which is why sun protection is needed in summer. When the skin is exposed to too much sunlight, the epidermis produces more melanin particles, which can absorb ultraviolet rays and protect the body from harm. This is why our skin becomes darker after sun exposure. Furthermore, UV radiation can cause chloasma, which darkens the color of common facial spots.

(3) Endocrine causes Endocrine disorders are also an important cause of facial pigmentation in women. Changes in sex hormone levels during menstruation and pregnancy can affect the production of melanin. In addition, endocrine instability usually causes emotional instability, which can also indirectly cause facial pigmentation.

(4) Lifestyle issues. Bad living habits such as stress, picky eating, and lack of sleep can also increase melanin. People with unstable sleep schedules have poor skin metabolism rates, which can affect the production of melanin particles.

In addition, various inflammatory skin diseases on the face (such as acne, etc.) will leave varying degrees of pigmented lesions (post-inflammatory pigmentation). Trauma or any skin inflammation can cause pigmentary changes in the skin. Some congenital skin diseases can also manifest as various pigmented spots.

The formation of facial red blood streaks is relatively complex and can be roughly divided into two categories: congenital and acquired.

Congenital ones include congenital facial telangiectasia, facial nevus telangiectasia, etc. (This type of person's blushing usually starts from childhood).

The formation of red blood streaks is rarely congenital, and most of them are formed after birth due to various damaging factors. The epidermis of the skin has no capillaries. The nutrition of the cells in the epidermis mainly comes from the third layer of the epidermis, the stratum spinosum. When the cells in the stratum spinosum are damaged, their ability to supply nutrition decreases. Our skin has its own repair ability. At this time, the capillaries in the dermis expand upward autonomously to help the spinous cells provide nutrients, thus forming red blood vessels. The more severe the damage to the epidermal cells, the longer the damage time, and the more severe the capillary proliferation and migration, the more severe the red blood streaks will be. When 30% of the skin is damaged, the red blood streaks appear as dots; when 50% of the skin is damaged, the red blood streaks appear as lines; when 70% of the skin is damaged, the red blood streaks appear as a network; when 90% of the skin is damaged, the red blood streaks appear as flakes.

External causes of vasodilation may be long-term use of drugs, A acid, fruit acid, skin peels that cause skin damage, thinning, and fragility, or external force or improper compression. Many people have deformed capillaries in the wings of their noses and nasal grooves, which is the result of improper squeezing of acne and pimples. In addition, parasites such as mites enter the dermis through the hair follicles and cause serious damage to the skin after a period of time, causing local "red face".

Collapse by symptom

Red blood streaks can be classified according to symptoms:

Facial redness

Red blood streaks caused by damaged stratum corneum due to various reasons

Red blood streaks caused by cold or heat

Telangiectasia type red blood streaks: red blood streaks that are sensitive to the external environment

There are many reasons for the formation of red blood streaks, which can be divided into primary and secondary types.

Most people with primary erythroma are congenitally inherited, that is, their parents or family members have suffered from this disease;

Regional factors: such as plateau climate stimulation and high altitude, which causes skin hypoxia, leading to an increase in the number of red blood cells and causing capillary dilation and rupture.

Physical factors: cold stimulation, dry air, windy and sandy climate, and sun exposure make the capillary tolerance exceed the normal range, causing the capillaries to dilate and rupture.

Occupational factors: such as chef. Welders and other flames are burning.

Beauty care factors: such as the damage caused by the acid components in skin care products and the dilation and rupture of hormone-dependent capillaries, as well as the fragility of skin immunity caused by skin resurfacing. Frequent visits to beauty salons for facial care can also lead to dilation and rupture of blood vessels.

Complications of local or systemic diseases cause telangiectasia and rupture.
