How to dilute dried nail polish

How to dilute dried nail polish

In daily life, women like to buy lipstick and nail polish, and they always have several different colors. However, nail polish cannot be changed every day like lipstick. After all, removing nail polish frequently is not good for nails, and applying too much nail polish is not good for the body. Therefore, many types of nail polish will be left unused. However, nail polish will evaporate, and will lose moisture and become dry over time. At this point, if you want to paint your nails but the nail polish has dried, what should you do?

1. Add transparent nail polish to dilute

For ordinary nail polish, add a little transparent nail polish and shake vigorously to mix evenly. This will make the nail polish thinner without affecting its reuse.

2. Add water to dilute

For natural water-based nail polish, just add some water to dilute it well. But be careful not to add too much water, otherwise the nail polish will not be effective. Use a small straw to drop it in little by little, shaking vigorously after each drop until you are satisfied.

3. Add perfume or nail polish diluent

Some nail polishes cannot be added with water or transparent nail polish, such as metallic nail polish. At this time, adding a few drops of perfume is a good method, otherwise it will make it lose its original luster. Perfume is fine as long as it is not of very bad quality.

4. Nail polish diluent

In fact, no matter which type of nail polish you use, you can dilute it with nail polish diluent after it dries. This dilution effect is also the best. However, if the nail polish is only a few dollars, there is no need to buy nail polish diluent. It is more economical and convenient to use the above methods.

5. Nail polish remover

Add nail polish remover to dilute. Nail polish remover can soften nail polish and play a diluting role, but when adding nail polish remover, you must control the amount. If you add too much, the nail polish will become too thin. You can pour it slowly and stir it thoroughly.

6. Alcohol

Pour in alcohol to dilute. Alcohol is a very good diluent for nail polish. Just a few drops can dilute nail polish, which is very convenient. It can also be diluted with strong shochu.

7. Nail polish thinner

If you are using more expensive nail polish, the safest and most reliable method is to add nail polish thinner. This stuff can usually be easily purchased online. Just gently drop a few drops and it will be OK. It can make dried or sticky nail polish return to normal.
