How to whiten yellow teeth? How to Whiten Teeth

There are many people with yellow teeth in life. What are the factors that cause teeth to turn yellow? This includes both congenital genetic factors and acquired factors. Therefore, protecting teeth and paying attention to dental health should start from an early age. If you do not pay attention to oral hygiene during childhood, it will greatly affect the health of your child's teeth when he or she grows up. Let’s look at ways to whiten your teeth after they’ve turned yellow.

Poor nutrition or illness, water quality, medication factors, and hygiene habits can all affect the soft plaque, tartar, smoke stains, tea stains, etc. accumulated on the tooth surface, which can cause teeth to turn yellow.

1. Brush your teeth with baking soda

When brushing your teeth, add some baking soda to the toothpaste, do not touch water, and gently brush the surface of the teeth. This can effectively remove tooth rust and increase the whiteness of the teeth.

2. Activated carbon powder whitens teeth

Charcoal can absorb and filter dirt on the surface of teeth, and also has the effect of whitening teeth. Mix equal parts of water and activated carbon powder and pour it into the mouth. Just like gargling, stay for 5 minutes, spit it out, and then rinse with clean water.

3. Use vinegar to remove tartar

People who smoke frequently will have a layer of black and yellow smoke stains on their teeth. Vinegar can be used to whiten their teeth. Take half a mouthful of vinegar, gargle in your mouth for 2-3 minutes, then spit it out, brush your teeth vigorously, and finally rinse with clean water. Repeat several times to remove the smoke stains.

4. Lemon juice removes tartar

After brushing your teeth, rub each tooth with lemon juice. Dip some gauze in lemon juice and rub your teeth. The teeth will become white and shiny. The niacin in lemon can effectively remove tartar, has strong cleaning power, and has the effect of whitening teeth. Do this once a week.

5. Homemade whitening toothpaste

First use half a spoon of baking soda and half a spoon of salt, add a drop of peppermint essential oil or olive oil, stir well to make a natural whitening toothpaste. Use it to brush your teeth once a week, otherwise it will easily damage the tooth enamel.
