What is the correct way to wash your face?

Our bodies are constantly metabolizing, and so is the skin on our faces. When the body metabolizes, some metabolic waste is produced. Some of the waste is excreted through feces or urine, and some of it is excreted through the skin surface. If we don't wash our faces correctly, these metabolic wastes will easily remain on the skin of our faces, causing skin diseases.

Choose a cleanser designed specifically for dry or sensitive skin to wash your face. The advantage of doing this is that there will be less residue on the skin after washing your face, which can reduce irritation to the skin. It can also effectively prevent skin dryness and has a certain moisturizing effect. If the water temperature is too high, the capillaries in the facial skin will dilate excessively, causing the skin to feel tight and uncomfortable. It will also open the pores of the skin, which can easily cause residues to clog the pores. If the water temperature is too low, it will cause the skin's micro-capillaries to contract, lose elasticity, and cause premature aging, which is not good for skin nourishment. Especially for oily skin, the dirt on the face cannot be washed away due to the shrinkage of pores, causing skin diseases such as acne. Therefore, you should wash your face with water at about 35°C, which can cleanse the skin without damaging it.

When washing your face, you should wash from bottom to top, from the center to the sides, and push along the direction of muscle growth with even and gentle force. This way of washing your face can massage and lift the skin, and can fight skin aging. When washing your face, avoid rubbing your face vigorously up and down, left and right. Because the pores on the face grow downwards, and the stratum corneum is distributed in layers like fish scales from top to bottom, washing against the growth direction will help remove dirt. However, the pores of the nose grow upwards and are most likely to grow blackheads, so when washing your nose, rub from top to bottom and make more circles.

The reason why we need to have a correct way to wash our face is mainly because correct face washing can speed up blood circulation in the face, which is conducive to the accelerated elimination of harmful substances. If you wash your face correctly, you can not only remove metabolic waste from your face in time, but also whiten your skin and prevent wrinkles.
