Causes of dandruff: Under normal circumstances, the epidermal cells of the scalp continue to proliferate and push to the surface. Finally, these cells mature, become lifeless stratum corneum and fall off. When the scalp is healthy, the shed cells are barely noticeable as powder, so dandruff is not visible. But when there is a problem with the scalp, the epidermis cannot mature well and flakes off, which is dandruff.
