What should I do if my eyelids droop when I wear glasses?

Usually, many of our friends will have varying degrees of myopia or astigmatism due to various reasons. At this time, things they see will always be a little blurry. Many friends even need to wear glasses for a long time to be able to live and work normally. Wearing glasses for a long time will cause a certain degree of damage to the eyelids, such as ptosis. Friends who wear glasses need to pay attention to the following aspects.

First of all, people with myopia should wear glasses as early as possible. Otherwise, in order to see things clearly, our eyes often squint unconsciously and frown, which can easily cause vertical fine lines around the eyes. People who wear glasses should avoid using their eyes under strong sunlight or light to avoid squinting unconsciously. In addition, try to choose frames that are made of light material and exquisite workmanship to reduce the pressure on the skin caused by the weight of the frame.

Secondly, do eye exercises regularly. Open your eyes as wide as possible for a few seconds; then slowly close your eyes and open them when your upper and lower eyelids are about to touch, being careful to keep your movements gentle. Eye massage can promote blood circulation, prevent and reduce wrinkles, but incorrect movements can actually promote wrinkle growth. The best massage technique is pressing. Place your fingers on the acupoints or wrinkles around the eyes, press gently, and repeat several times. You can also use massaging techniques, massaging the subcutaneous tissue like drawing circles, but be careful to keep your fingers fixed on the skin and not rub the skin.

Finally, wear contact lenses less often. When wearing and removing contact lenses every day, you need to keep your upper and lower eyelids open. Over time, this will cause the skin on your upper eyelids to become loose and droopy, and wrinkles will form around your eyes. Therefore, in addition to insisting on eye exercises, people who wear contact lenses should also use eye cream as early as possible. Take a mung bean-sized amount on the ring finger every day, and then gently press it around the eyes.

You can also use your hands to massage the most affected parts of the eye. This can promote local blood circulation and improve metabolism. It can also relieve fat particles formed by fat accumulation around the eyes and ptosis. Of course, for more serious ptosis, it is best to treat it with some safer medical methods.
